Pisang goreng (fried banana) is one of our most popular desserts. Unfortunately, we’re not able to make it for you for a little while, but if you do miss it, we have a solution right here for you! Ingredients
- 3 large plantains
- 300 grams of self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 1 level teaspoon of salt
- 500 milliliters milk
- 1 egg
- soy oil
Pisang goreng
Cut the plantains in five equal pieces. Put the self-raising flour into a bowl and add the milk and the egg. Mix until you have a nice, smooth batter. Mix it with the vanilla sugar and the salt. Heat the oil to 160 degrees Celsius. Dip the plantains into the batter and fry until golden brown.
TIP: very good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
